Scholarship Awards

Each year the 100 Black Men awards six (6) scholarships to deserving youth in the Midlands community.  Each award is renewable for up to four (4) years with a value of up to $2,000 ($500 annually).

Eligibility Criteria

  • High school senior transitioning to college

  • Minimum grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)

  • Planning to attend a two-year or four-year institution for an entire academic year beginning the fall semester after high school graduation.

Scholarship Application Deadline

The deadline to submit a scholarship                application is March 15, 2024. 

 

Criteria for Scholarship Renewal

In order to receive future scholarship allocations, students must continue to be enrolled in a two-year or four-year institution of higher learning and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).  Students should complete the Scholarship Renewal Request Form and submit evidence of their GPA (official transcript) and continued enrollment (class schedule or verification of enrollment for Registrar) by October 15th annually.
