2026 Committees

Responsible for the development and recommendation of all strategic planning efforts of the Corporation. Annually updates the Strategic Plan and prepares the Annual Business Report for the Corporation. Evaluates all implementation efforts relative to the execution of the Annual Business Plan.

Dr. Samuel Mokeba-(PLACEHOLDER)

Long Range Planning

Responsible for the development, recommendation, and oversight of personnel activities. Develops administrative and personnel policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment for the Corporation's staff.

Dr. Troy Sheppard-(PLACEHOLDER)

Administration and Personnel

Responsible for the development, recommendation, and implementation of a media and public relations program for the Corporation. Coordinates the development and publication of newsletters, press releases, media interviews, annual reports, and marketing reports of the Corporation.

Mr. Quinten Ball

Media and Public Relations

Responsible for the development of new membership processing programs, membership orientation programs, and membership relations programs. Empowered to enforce the membership termination provisions of the Bylaws.

Mr. Dana Risi

Membership Development

Responsible for identifying mentoring opportunities and overseeing current mentoring programs in the Greater Columbia Area. Empowered to assist in fundraising to fund the mentoring program.

Mr. Lee Coles

Mentorship

Responsible for the development, recommendation, and oversight of fiscal policy, and implementation of actions designed to strengthen the fiscal infrastructure of the Corporation. Responsible for the internal auditing of all financial matters and review presentation of all budgets of all committees of the Corporation.

Mr. Kelvin Washington

Financial Management

Responsible for the development, recommendation, and oversight of fundraising policies and the implementation of fundraising activities of the Corporation. Works closely with the Executive Director or other staff personnel designated by the Board.

Mr. Quinten Ball

Special Events

Responsible for the development, recommendation, and management of all programmatic and educational activities for the Corporation. This committee shall implement and evaluate the program efforts of the Corporation.

Mr. Steven C. Potts

Program and Education

Reviews all proposed amendments to the Bylaws, and recommends and interprets any proposed amendments to membership.
